Join Friends of Evesham Anti-litter Group for the Great British Spring Clean this Weeekend!

Originally planned for start of this month, the rearranged date is this Saturday, 24 March.

We plan to be ambitious in support of the Great British Spring Clean. Many people have supported us in our activities, picking around the town over the last 18 months and we ask for your support for this national initiative.

On Saturday the 24 of March, we will meet in the Market Place at 11 am. We have identified a number of areas that we would like to target: -

  1. The Rynal Estate, including alley ways
  2. Boat Lane, the Riverside and back up Blind Lane
  3. Bridge Street, entrance to car-park and adjacent public space
  4. Abbey Lane, parallel to Abbey Road behind the garden centre
  5. Brick-Kiln Street/Littleworth Street

Please join us if you are able to, we will split the group when we meet and leaders will direct people towards target areas.

Picking sticks, vests, gloves and bags will be provided.

We will be supported on the day by a number of our Councillors, our work is a part of The Evesham Town Plan, which is under the control of Evesham Town Council. We will also be joined on the day by local MP, Nigel Huddleston.
