Evesham Town Council is to enter into partnership with LSD Promotions to re-launch the Saturday Charter Market and Tuesday market.
Starting on Tuesday 6 June, LSD Promotions will take over the day to day management of the market and use their 25 years of experience to promote and grow it.  LSD Promotions currently manage markets in Stratford upon Avon, Worcester and Oxford, amongst others and aim to bring their expertise to Evesham Market.
Linda McGillicuddy, Director of LSD Promotions said ‘"The Midlands has a wonderful market history and we are passionate about regenerating and restoring them to how they once were. Our team are very excited about the Evesham project and can't wait to get started; everyone is looking forward to the relaunch and to making a difference in the town."
As part of the re-launch, the Town Council has committed to purchasing new pop-up gazebo stalls to bring a smart uniform look to the market. The stalls will be in Evesham colours, yellow and blue and will be in place from 6 June and used for both the Tuesday and the Saturday Markets.
Councillor Richard Jones, Evesham Town Mayor said ‘the Town Plan highlighted residents desire to see the Charter Market retained and improved as a priority, and this is a big step in realising this.  The Town Council hope that by partnering up with a company with the experience of LSD Promotions and the Council’s investment in new stalls, it will attract new market traders and new customers, which in turn will have a positive affect for the town centre.  One thing is for sure, you will see an instant change when the stalls are set up on the morning of the 6 June.  It is another vote of confidence in the town centre following on from the opening of 3 bars and restaurants in the Market Place and an exciting new start for the markets in Evesham.’
Anybody interested in taking a stall at either of the markets should contact LSD Promotions on 01384 877336.
